Newcastle United Heroes make donation to TTHT at St. James's Park
NUFC HEROES GOLF DAY
The NUFC Heroes raised money for TTHT at a special Heroes Golf Day in 2004.

The cheque presentation ceremony was held at St. James's Park where Heroes President Freddy Shepherd, and United goalkeeper Steve Harper, who played in the winning golf team, handed over the cheque to project director Lesley Henderson.
Also present from the Heroes organisation were Mick Martin, and Secretary Philip Morris, as well as the other members of Steve's team, Paul Manson, Alan Robson and Alan Thompson.

Then United Chairman and Heroes President Freddy Shepherd said: "Heroes is a thriving organisation, which, as well as looking after many of our current and former players, also does a terrific amount of work behind the scenes in raising money for such causes as the Toby Henderson Trust.

"It is thanks to the sterling efforts of my Heroes colleagues, including Mick and Phil, that we are able to achieve such objectives and it was a real pleasure for us to present the Trust with the proceeds from the Golf Day."

Steve Harper was pleased to add: "It was a thoroughly enjoyable day for all concerned but more importantly is the money that was raised for a tremendously worthwhile cause. The Heroes organisation have really done themselves proud."
