It is with deepest regret that in, partnership with our trustees at The Toby Henderson Trust and Autism in Mind, we have taken the difficult decision to temporarily close Toby House & The Autism Hub.
We feel that it would be socially irresponsible for us to remain open following the announcement by the UK Government last night.
We want to take care of our vulnerable families, children and staff and therefore, with this in mind, we will continue to offer support wherever possible via telephone, email and our social media platforms.
We hope that you understand that this decision has not been taken lightly and that we are all feeling saddened by the current global situation. When we opened in 2001, we would never have envisaged a time when we would have had to close due to circumstances beyond our control.
We are receiving direct daily updates from the Government website and will be reviewing the situation as and when we receive the information. It is important to note that we will still endeavour to provide support via email, parent mail, telephone and our social media platforms.
We sincerely hope that we will not be closed for too long, but as the situation is completely out of our control, we are unable to give any further assurances at this time.
Please stay safe, everyone.
