About 1,000,000,000 Christmas cards are sold each year in the UK. One billion! And most of them end up in landfill. How about sending fewer paper greetings this year and making a donation to The Toby Henderson Trust instead?
You’ll be helping to save a few trees, but the money you would otherwise have spent on cards and stamps will also fund the vital, life-changing work we do with children and young people who have autism. The play therapy we provide at The Toby Henderson Trust makes an impact that lasts a lifetime.
You’ll be helping us to support families too, with advice, workshops, courses, support groups or even just a listening ear and a cuppa with someone who really understands what it’s like to raise a child who has ASD.
How to donate
You can give as much or as little as you like. It’s really easy to make a donation via Charity Checkout – much easier than writing out all those cards! There’s a donation option on our Facebook page too. (You can share our Facebooook post or our tweet to spread the word and let your friends and family know you’re supporting us. ) Or, of course, you can come along to Toby House to say hello and drop off your donation in person.
We hope you have a wonderful Christmas this year!
