Staying Safe

Are you struggling to deal with your child’s aggressive behaviour? Do you find yourself often being the target of the aggression and not knowing what to do? Are you unsure how to keep your child or young person – and yourself – safe from harm?

Staying Safe

At The Toby Henderson Trust we recognise that parents and carers deal with these situations on a regular basis. They need the right information and knowledge to be able to react effectively and safely. That’s why we’re pleased to be able to offer a new workshop that will lead you through what to do before, during and after these challenging and aggressive situations.

The workshop will be delivered by Tony Macdonald. Tony has over 25 years’ experience of working with children, young people and adults who have challenging behaviour, many of whom have ASD and other related disabilities. Tony was one of the original trainers employed by CALM Training Ltd. (Crisis Aversion and Limitation Management, which is accredited by the British Institute of Learning Disability).

During this two-hour session, Tony will show you proven methods and means of reducing harm for your young person and yourself.
