Life After Diagnosis Workshop

Being a parent, carer or family member can be both rewarding and very stressful. Dealing with the everyday ups and downs of family life and the world around us is hard enough. But doing this as a parent of a newly-diagnosed child or young person with autism can at times seem near impossible.

About the workshop

The workshop will be conducted by the experienced and knowledgeable Toby Henderson Trust team. It will give you a practical insight into:

• what Autism is.
• communication and interaction.
• possible support strategies.
• sensory processing.

This workshop would be equally appropriate and beneficial to professionals who work with children and families on the autism spectrum.

What it costs

• £7.50  for registered families
• £15 for non-registered families
• £40 for professionals

The price includes delicious light refreshments.
