The Beauty of Autistic Joy Webinar
This free webinar for families will be presented by Lynda Richardson, Head of Operations and Fiona Richards, Autism Hub Manager on Friday 30th January at 9.30am – 11am.
For parents/carers of autistic children and young people, the autism diagnosis will usually have come as a direct result of looking at “deficits” that meet a specific criterion to receive this diagnosis. From the outside looking in, being autistic has often been viewed negatively in our society.
But what about the positive aspects of being autistic… and there are many if we just know how to recognise them. This webinar aims to take us all on a journey of positivity where we embrace the joys of being autistic, through lived experience of actually autistic children, young people and adults, as well as parents/ carers and those who work closely within the field of autism every day.
