In Person Workshop – Autism and Transitions in Education on Tuesday 9th June at 10am-11.30am at the Autism Hub, Gordon Street, South Shields, NE33 4JP

We ran some In-Person workshops last year and after lots of positive feedback we received, we are pleased to be offering this type of support to our families again in 2026!

This is a free workshop delivered in person at the Autism Hub by team members, Lynda and Alice and is aimed at families who have an autistic child (or young person undergoing the diagnostic pathway) living in South Tyneside.

We often hear how difficult transitions in education can be for autistic students and their family members. In preparation for the new academic year, Lynda and Alice will be sharing helpful strategies that families can implement to support autistic students through these changes. During this session, you will also have a personal insight into this transitional period as we share the thoughts of autistic young people that we currently work with.

Book your place:

If you are interested in joining, please book your place by emailing autismhub@ttht.co.uk or calling 0191 816 0550. (Please leave a voice message, missed calls can not be replied to)
